Ongoing Campaigns

While many of our campaigns run for less than a week, below are campaigns that do not have an “expiry date”. We will push for changes to Ontario Provincial legislation to reduce motor vehicle noise, and for the City of Toronto to improve stationary noise bylaws and enforcement measures. Lastly, we are also pushing the various levels of government to phase out fireworks.

📣 Campaign Update: A Landslide Victory for Quieter Streets!!

Thank you, Toronto!

Together, we made our voices heard loud and clear.

Our recent campaign to demand action on illegal vehicle noise and modified exhausts achieved an absolutely monumental victory at Toronto City Hall.

Thanks to an incredible surge of grassroots support, our community came together in less than a week to flood local representatives with 709 official emails right before the vote.

The Result: City Council voted overwhelmingly 21 to 1 in favour of pushing the province for legislation to allow implementation of automated noise cameras! Because of the sheer volume of support we showed, city leaders didn’t just pass the original motion—they actually collaborated on the floor to make the policy even stronger.
