Ongoing Campaigns

While many of our campaigns run for less than a week, below are campaigns that do not have an “expiry date”. We will push for changes to Ontario Provincial legislation to reduce motor vehicle noise, and for the City of Toronto to improve stationary noise bylaws and enforcement measures. Lastly, we are also pushing the various levels of government to phase out fireworks.

Reduce Vehicle vanity noise (Ontario)

These two campaigns ask the province to:

  1. Make changes to allow for technology pilots in our cities to help free up police resources for more important work,
  2. More effective penalties and deterrence for when a driver is caught with a modified muffler (HTA 75.1 ) or making unnecessary noise with their car (HTA 75.4)
